Amie Eschete’s coworkers have many words to describe her—compassionate, reliable, cheerful—but the one trait she embodies most is Trustworthiness. As floor nurse in the surgical and trauma unit, Amie brightens the unit just by her very presence. Amie strongly believes patients have a better recovery period when they feel comfortable with their care and are able to ask questions about their hospitalization. For this reason, she is passionate about building relationships with her patients, doctors, and coworkers. Amie handles problems competently, and loves working with the team to improve her patients’ care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, saltwater fishing, competing in BBQ cookoffs, and listening to Texas country music.
