Nuey is always proud of her team as they continue to make a difference in the lives of their patients.
Nuey’s Roots
Inspired by her mother who was also a nurse, Nuey came to the United States from Thailand to pursue nursing after graduating from Texas Women’s University and Texas A&M University. CHI St. Joseph Health has played a huge role in Nuey’s life, from sending her through nursing school to having her father as the Director of Security. The hospital and community has become her family over the 20+ years of her nursing career.
A Reward in Itself
She is grateful to CHI St. Joseph Health for making each staff member feel cared for. As a proud member of the cath lab team, Nuey enjoys seeing the difference the doctors make in patient cardiac health. She feels that it is rewarding in itself to help people.
Giving Patients Her Best
Her philosophy of care centers around doing the absolute best you can to care for patients, making them feel comfortable and safe to provide the best outcome for the procedure. She believes that the team keeps each other going, that it’s not just one person that makes a difference, and it’s everyone working together to do their best to care for patients. Nuey believes that by treating each patient with the same level of excellent care, patients feel well taken care of no matter what, and that’s why they keep coming to CHI St. Joseph Health in times of need.
Nuey’s Favorites
Nuey enjoys going to the gym to keep her relaxed throughout her workday and having a group to stay fit with when she works out. She loves how nice everyone at CHI St. Joseph Health is and how everyone cares for the wellbeing of the community. She would like to recognize her team for always giving their best.
